MOVING UP TO BIG SCHOOL

MARCHES ACADEMY TRUST

We were approached by Marches Academy Trust to produce a film for their four secondary schools as an alternative to their usual open days.

Our treatment, focused on acknowledging the importance of the moment when pupils move from primary to secondary school but also celebrating the exciting opportunities and variety of subjects that are up for grabs.

Filmed on-location during social distancing, we filmed carefully crafted, dramatic tracking shots to showcase some of the school facilities, combined with a series of explosive creative moments to represent the range of classes.

“It’s about a new adventure, new beginnings, new friendships.” – TEACHER, GROVE SCHOOL

"IT’s SO Important to get the transition from primary to secondary right… no matter what happens, you will be fine" – TEACHER, MARCHES SCHOOL

“There is only one of you in this world so make the most of it!”

The film is narrated by teachers from the four schools, who we interviewed to find out what makes them tick and to hear their advice for prospective students and their parents.

Versions of the film were released for each of the four secondary schools offering efficiency for the Academy Trust, each released across social media and online through their respective websites and newsletters.
